1. About Ask Muhasib
Ask Muhasib ("we", "us", "the platform") at askmuhasib.atiqsoft.com is an independent online platform that connects people and businesses ("clients") with independent accountants, auditors, bookkeepers and tax advisers ("professionals"). We are not an accounting, audit or tax firm and we do not provide professional services, advice or opinions ourselves.
2. Acceptance
By using the website, submitting an enquiry or applying to join, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Disclaimer. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
3. Our role
We receive requests and may introduce them to professionals who we believe may be suitable. Any engagement, scope, fee and deliverable is agreed directly between the client and the professional, who is solely responsible for the services they provide. We are not a party to that engagement and do not supervise, direct or guarantee the work.
We do not guarantee that a professional will be available, that a match will be made, or any particular response time or outcome.
4. Professionals
Professionals who apply confirm that the information they provide, including professional body and membership details, is true and complete, and that they hold any licence or registration required for the services they offer in their country. Applying does not guarantee acceptance or any volume of work. We may decline or remove any professional at our discretion.
5. Free tools and content
Calculators, deadline lists and articles are general information only. They may be incomplete, out of date or contain errors, and they are not tax, accounting, legal or financial advice. Always verify with the relevant tax authority or a qualified professional before acting.
6. Acceptable use
You must not submit false, misleading or unlawful information, impersonate others, send spam, attempt to access accounts or systems without permission, or interfere with the platform.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the platform and all content and tools are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ask Muhasib, its owner and operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, or for any loss of profit, revenue, data, goodwill, tax penalties, interest or fines, arising from or connected with the use of the platform, the tools, or any services provided by a professional, whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise.
Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the platform shall not exceed the greater of the fees you paid to us (if any) in the twelve months before the claim, or AED 100. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
8. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses and costs arising from your breach of these Terms or your dealings with any other user or professional.
9. Changes and termination
We may change the platform or these Terms at any time; the updated version applies from the date it is posted. We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaches these Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai, and the courts of Dubai shall have jurisdiction, unless mandatory local law provides otherwise.
